[Suse 9.1] Switch from KDE to Fluxbox
Ok i have suse 9.1 personal edition and i would like to switch from kde to fluxbox... I have installed fluxbox 0.9.9-1 via rpm, and know how to set it up using /ect/sysconfig.
But when i go to /ect/sysconfig, desktop > window manager > WINDOW_WM, fluxbox is not selectable from the pull down bar...
i have tryed typing in fluxbox in the bar, and that only loads kde...
Thanks for any help in advance

when you logout, <end current session>, at the username/password screen is fluxbox among the available choices in the drop down box?

doesn't matter. you don't have a 'menu' button to the right of the shutdown x server button , then a 'session type' selection after clicking 'menu', odd.

Is there any files I can edit to help me switch to fluxbox?
oh yeah... I remember when I tryed installing gnome i used apt...
And with gtm, I was able to switch from kde to gnome and back... (gnome had a lot of application crashes)
Mayhaps i can use that to install gnome, and then switch to fluxbox...
But there is only one problem...
The sources im using apt with have GPG signatures, which makes apt think those are bad files...
I know I can use --no-checksig, but It wont let me use it...
ive tryed...
apt --no-checksig
apt-rpm --no-checksig install
apt-get --no-checksig install
NONE of those work...
So can someone tell me what command i can use to disable signature checking?
Thanks again!
