[Solved] Problems removing a file, Systemback.

Hello,

Some time ago I had installed systemback in MX-21. It never worked properly and i "removed" it.

The issue now is that it leaves me with a file at home that I can't find ways to remove.
(Maybe my mistake was to have removed it with the 'aptitude purge' command and not with 'apt'.)

Code:
keos@kaos:~
$ LANG=C sudo deluser --remove-home Systemback
/usr/sbin/deluser: The user `Systemback' does not exist.
keos@kaos:~
$ LANG=C sudo deluser --remove-home systemback
/usr/sbin/deluser: The user `systemback' does not exist.
keos@kaos:~
$
Code:
root@kaos:~# LANG=C rm systemback
rm: cannot remove 'systemback': No such file or directory
root@kaos:~#
Code:
keos@kaos:~
$ LANG=C sudo  dpkg --purge `COLUMNS=300 dpkg -l | egrep "^rc" | cut -d' ' -f3` systemback
dpkg: warning: ignoring request to remove systemback which isn't installed
keos@kaos:~
$
I have gone into #thunar too, and removed it manually, but ... it appears again and again.
(In #Thunar when I open systemback there is a text: '.sbschedule' apparently empty, I delete it before deleting systemback, with no result.)

That's basically all I've tried and I can't find any other alternative anywhere else, if anyone please has any other suggestions ...

Thanks for any advice.

what do you want to remove? A file? A dir? A user? A package? Or what?

I had previously seen that link in my searches and didn't pay much attention to it because it had been a while since I had installed Systemback and no longer remembered how I did it. It is not an MX-21 package.

Seeing it again reminded me ... then I went to Synaptic and saw that there was a lot of other Systemback stuff left that it had not removed with 'aptitude'. This time I applied 'apt-get remove --purge' and all those libraries, etc, were removed.

Someone on another forum a long time ago once told me when removing a package to use 'aptitude purge' because that command removes everything, including the settings, doesn't 'apt-get remove --purge' remove too all the settings as well?.

Thanks!

EDIT:

Code:
root@kaos:~# LANG=C dpkg --list systemback
dpkg-query: no packages found matching systemback
root@kaos:~#
