Since i'm not familiarized with samba, i would like to know if it is possible to have a configuration such as this:
two machines, one with samba working, and a second one with windows and linux and being able to access the linux partitions on machine number 2, while working on windows on the same machine(using samba of course).
Much of this was answered, and I think you really wanted
more disk space. However have you looked at CYGWIN?
If you like linux, but work in WINxx at the same time
for some ugly reason, this solves the problem.
no samba involved.

Okay looked at that site. Not even close to what he is trying to do. Also I believe this is just a *nix clone shell for windows. Prolly more complicated than worth the time,take a look at the faq:
