My laptop internal wireless card says it's disconnected when I type in the run command ipconfig. I moved about a month and a half ago and where I moved to my computer won't even pick up a signal for a connect when I know there is a working connection there. When I went home for Thanksgiving I took my computer with me and it worked fine with a wireless connection there. I'm confused! I don't know what the problem is and it doesn't help that I'm not very computer smart. So, if someone has an idea as to why it will connect in one place and not in any other places, and also why it says it's disconnect when it's not, I would be very greatful for any help I could get! You aren't giving anywhere near enough information to actually diagnose the problem. Also, given the fact that you posted this in a completely inappropriate forum, I don't think you are going to get much help.
