Question web, ftp and Mail server help


hello,
AOA

i am doing my final project of bcs. making ISP setup. i have made it by using mikrotik as my internet server and other services in Linux e.g web server, ftp server and mail server. i am getting the problem in port forwarding. i can send mail but cant receive mail. same with the ftp n web server locally they work fine but cant connect with it form wan. help is needed urgently.

Distribution, router, firewall....
Make sure the ports are forwarded to your server on the router, and the firewall accepts connections on these ports

using fedora 8 as fpt n web server, and CENTOS 5 as mail server, Mikrotik router OS and mikrotik firewall as INTERNET SERVER. AND ZYXEL ADSL MODEM for INTERNET.

yes i forwarded all port to the internet server.

Are you trying to connect from the outside?
Do you connect on ip or domainname?
Is the dns setup correct?
Can you do a portscan from the outside to the server, and post the output?

hummmm k i will try to do port scan from out side n let u know....
