Question Mail/Web/FTP server - POP3 (My first time)

I am setting up a Mail/Web/FTP server. It is my first time with Linux Server Setup, and is best to assume it's my first time with Linux in general.

I am trying to build this server in RedHat 7.2.
How do I setup the eMail functions, specifically POP3 functionality so people can use their Netscape, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook to check their email on this machine?
Do I have to download a separate daemon for POP3, or is it included with Redhat 7.2? If so, where can I find it?

What are some recommendations for books? Is there anything like "So, you want to build a Linux Web Server?" or "Linux Web Servers from Scratch for Idiotic Dummies" or something. Websites are cool too, but harder to read in a plane or on the bus.

The server is not in a domain and would reside with a fixed IP address mapped to a specific domain.

I think the POP3/IMAP server that comes with redhat is cyrus, http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/ . You can use the packages from the CD or get the updated versions.

I would suggest that you go through the cyrus documentation in the distribution for carefully. And also it would help to go through the hows on ISP, EMAIL, etc. at http://www.linuxdoc.org/

You can also setup a web reader like http://www.squirrelmail.org/
