watching data on it's way out

Hi,

I'm currently using Wine to run a Windows app and I thought I might try and be tricky and write a PyGTK version Problem is, as usual with these closed-source monkeys, I don't know how this app talks to it's master server. 99% of it's work is basically sending and receiving data over the network so I'm looking for a way that I can read the banter between client and server, then I can take a crack at reimplementing it.

Any suggestions on how I could go about doing this, much appreciated

Never mind, Ethereal completely slipped my mind for a minute there...

If anyone has any other suggestions though I'm open to options
