vncviewer : mac , connection refused(61)


Hi,
When i try to connect to a vncserver from my mac's realvnc (vnc viewer) , it tells me connection refused(61) has anyone faced this before?
What is the reason for such a refusal.
It would be great if anyone can help

There could be loads of reasons, is the server running? is there a firewall in the way? what does the server side log say? Are you connecting to the right port?
