Question Vlans with ClearOS adn Cisco 3560G Layer 3 Switch

I am a relative new user to Linux and have been running ClarkConnect and now ClearOs 5.2 for several years. I recently got a Cisco 3560 Swicthand would like to add Vlan 2 to it on one port to segment the broadcast traffic that is on that port. That port has my Verizon STB's on it and they broadcast to each other constantly. I want to put that port on a seperate Vlan to isolate them. I understand I to creat the Vlan on the switch but am not sure what else I will need to do on ClearOS (which is Centos based) which is my gateway, firewall and DHCP sever.

I have ETH 0 for my WAN interface and ETH 1 as the internal. I will need to add ETH 1.2 on ClearOS and am unsure what else I will need to do or the best way to do it.

I can configure routing on the switch if that is the best method or do it on ClearOS.

Can I instaed do DHCP snooping on the switch?

Any help as to the best method and the steps required will be greatly appreciated.

Hank
