using IPERF commands check connect between two PCI ports of a PC

Hello,i Have a PC with two PCIE cards with 4 ports in which two of them are connected as shown bellow using a cable. I want to check the connection between them. each pci port has a domain name as shown in the photo bellow. I have assigned ip address to the two ports i am intrested in using IFCONFIG now i have my two pci ports have IP adresses 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.2 i tried to test the connection between the two ports (via cable ) using IPERF with two commands one after the other shown in the end. but as you can see it tests the connection of the client to itself. how do i properly formulate IPERF so it will test connection between 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2?
Thanks.

You would need to BIND the source ip to one to test the other, the -B option.

Read this. There are iptables solutions also. I forgot, you also need to subvert the routing protocols because
it takes the local route.

Personally, use 2 boxes is way easier!
