How much time it takes for an Intrusion Detecting System to report to the firewall the possible threat attack?
Since you don't tell us:
What kind of Linux you're using
What kind of IDS you're using
What kind of hardware you're using
What kind of firewall you're using
How you have ANY of this configured
...what, exactly, do you think we'll be able to tell you? And you need to read the LQ Rules, Question Guidelines, and How to ask a smart question links.
