Unable to ping Default Gateway in Suse Linux 11.2

Hi

In my one of the stand alone pc, I have two Network Interfaces eth0 & eth1

IP Address eth0 - 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.0
IP Address eth1 - 192.168.0.3/255.255.255.0

Now I would like to configure Gateway for above both interfaces as 192.168.0.1
I have configured the same from GUI, but not able to ping 192.168.0.1

I am able to ping 192.168.0.2 & 192.168.0.3
Please suggest

Thanks
Rajan

... you might have a firewall running that's blocking ping?

It's not very clear to me what it is you want to do. Please try giving us a bit more details.

----{eth0}[gateway]{eth1}----
ip ip
