Actually I wrote I have never seen it work with anything after 2.6.35, the 2 statements are completely different. I wrote that because I have never had it work after 2.6.35, if you have it working on 2.6.38 that's great I'd love to know your secret because I have alot of old hardware that is still in perfect working order and the only thing stopping me using it with Linux is I can't get ndiswrapper to work with newer versions. There are even entire threads, which I took part in, on Ubuntu Forums and bug reports, which I took part in, in Launchpad about the issue.

Try pclinuxos.My "secret" may be is that i never actually have to "install" the driver myself.There are some generic "windows drivers" included with ndiswrapper in pclinuxos.It may not work every driver though.
