I have an issue connecting to the internet using my 3G Huawei E220 modem in Ubuntu 12.04. I logged a bug report on this (Bug 679647 gnomeorg). They have requested that I supply a stacktrace. Can someone please advise me how I do this.
You can use apport for that. You also need to install "-gdb" version of relevant packages to trace be usable. But most probably you need first to upgrade your system, current LTS version is 14.04. I don't think that anybody will be interested to track errors in outdated programs (perhaps already fixed).
