Tip: accessing citicards.com in linux


Hi Group.
A quick note to post something helpful if you have a citicard credit card.

The citicards.com site is completely microsoft/flash/javascript-centric and doesn't work well with versions of Firefox or Opera or Iceweasel on linux.

There used to be an html-only alternative login page; however, I can't find it anymore.

I've found that turning off javascript after loading the web page and then trying to login no longer works for me when using Firefox 3.6.X or Opera 10.X.

I just found the following method and it works with no problems:

1. Go to citicards.com
2. Right click anywhere inside the web page and choose "Play" from the menu. An advertisement will appear. Click the X in the upper right of the advertisement's box, and you will now be able to fill in your UserID and Pass., and successfully login.
