Take a larger share of wireless connection

I have a wireless network in my home and I have several room mates using it. The other users have significantly reduced the internet speed that I can access from my computer; especially the upload speed. I want to learn how to tell the router to to give me a larger share of the wireless bandwidth and let the others divide the rest. Since I am paying for the service my room mates don't really get a say in this matter. I'm using Fedora 7 and a linksys router if that is of any relevance.

Thanks

Unless you router/wifi access point can do this then you will need to put a device in the route to the outside world to do it for you. As for what that device would be i couldn't tell you as i have not needed to venture there.
