squid cache Windows Media Stream

Is it possible to cache windows media stream with squid. I have router and many computers behind it. So I want to have one connection to site that make video stream, and many connection behind it to this site. I tried VLC, but it don't support windows media stream. And because I have configured squid I want to try to configure it that it make connection, and other users in network to watch video trough it.

Not sure about streaming media, but although it sounds obvious, have you tried setting your WMP proxy settings to that of your proxy server and checking the Squid cache logs to see if it correctly reads from the cache if a duplicate stream is requested. Used to work fine with Real Audio, though this was going back a couple of years. Should still be the same though. I think the streams also have to be available via an HTTP feed too, otherwise Squid can't do anything with them.
