Quote:
If i run "snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost system" at the snmp box I get the results what expected.
But when I run at for remote system
And same thing with the cfgmaker for the remote system gives me
well either you're firewalled, the net-snmp instance at the other end is only listening on loopback (or similar network restriction internally to the box) or you have the wrong community name. all of these would result in no response back (as opposed to a denial reply etc...)

Well as I said I don't have any firewall on both ends. Well I used the public as the community name in snmpd.conf file. But let me know how should be the snmpd.conf file at the both ends. And also the community name. And also let me know how to set com2sec rule for different network address of class 24, 26 and 27. And I also want to monitor CPU Memory Hard dirve usage, CPU temp.

Thanking you

This gives access to computer with ip 192.168.0.1 with community public:
com2sec any_name 192.168.0.1 public
or to a class C network:
com2sec any_name 192.168.0.0/24 public
