SNMP community string change - SERVER CRASH


Since the SNMP string has been changed from public the SNMP service on the web servers (and others) keeps falling over.

Any idea why?

What OS are you using? What webserver software are you using? Which SNMP implementation are you using?

Also, it seems like this question might be better suited for the Networking forum since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with security.
