smbmount hangs after connection is made
Hi All,
I am mounting a WinXP share on my FC3 (kernel 2.6.11-1.27_FC3 / Samba samba-3.0.10-1.fc3) box using the following command:
smbmount //argon/broward /samba_shares/jon_broward/ -o credentials=/etc/samba/credentials.txt
It mounts fine, but then hangs after a few minutes of inactivity. I checked the log files and smbmount.log gives:
[2005/06/19 21:47:57, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(725)
tdb(/var/cache/samba/gencache.tdb): tdb_lock failed on list 49 ltype=1 (Bad file descriptor)
What can I do? Any ideas?
