Slackware 9.1 live cd: Can I connect to net?

Just downloaded and checked out Slackware 9.1 live cd.

I love it. Ive dabbled with a couple of linux distros in the past, and the main thing that has kept me in windoze is the fact that I could not get linux to connect out to the net.

Well, now its 2 years later. Can Slackware 9.1 live cd connect to the net? Ive seen the pppd program for dialup users. Im on dsl.

Please help.

I have a similiar problem. i can't connect to the internet through dsl too. but i have no live cd. i think there aren't many differences.
so please help me too

Yep... I'm almost sure live-cd comes with rpppoe installed (I'll check it later... at work... couple hours I give you some feedback)
1) type adsl-setup
follow through the wizard
2)type adsl-start
you'll be conneted
3)to stop it type adsl-stop

hope that's all...give us some feedback after you test it
