Cool Soccer World Cup! Live on Net anywhere?

Does anyone know if Soccer Worldcup is being netcast?
(It needs to be free, of course).

I am presently making a list of Internet resources where to
find live scores / commentary / netcast etc.

Thx in Advance for any info..

How to watch world cup on linux ( tvants , internet tv , free )

How to watch world cup on linux ( tvants , internet tv , free , video, audio, live, transmission , soccer ):

Hello, for those of you who are seeking a way to watch world cup games in Linux, here is how to do it:

a) install latest wine (windows emulator for linux) on you system.

b) download TVAnts (TvantsSetup.exe) ... just google for it and,

c) install it (default is C:\Program Files\tvants\)

d) go to a terminal and type

wine "C:\Program Files\tvants\Tvants.exe"

e) do a search for "sport" and select "soccer addict" or "CCTV5" which one works better for you.

f) open a second terminal and type

totem mms://localhost:16900/1
or

kaffeine mms://localhost:16900/1

g) the last number after the port is the order the chnnel appears on the listing... 1 for the first, 2 for the second etc..

"soccer addict" (Dutch) works fine for me in Portugal and anyone in Europe. CCTV5 is good anyware in the world...but its chinese

Anyway GO PORTUGAL!!!!!

P.S. (this note was translated from an italian post someware, and hey... it works for me)
