setting up telnet host


how do i setup a telnet host on my linux workstation. i want to connect to my linux machine running xp. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well I suggest you do NOT run telnet. I suggest you run SSH and use something like putty to connect to your box.

Check out www.linux-corner.net for more information on that subject.

allright...i have both programs installed now.....can you give me some more detailed instructions on how to actually start running ssh on my linux workstation? thanks.
