SAMBA : smbuseradd : command not found

im trying to get my /home partision reedable by my laptop, however i cant find any refrence on my system to smbuseradd, therefore when i try to use smbpasswd it wont update the password,

i cant find anywhere to download the binary for smbuser addsmbuseradd

please help!

You need to create the user account normally and then use 'smbpasswd -a' , which adds the account to the Samba user database and then sets the password for it.
