Samba mount problems


there is a workstation that sees other boxes on the network but can't see the shares. this share is located on a windows box and the windows itself as well as other windows stations see it but once on the linux box, when i check the windows box w/ smb utilities, doesn't list anything being there. some help would be appreciated

hi there

run this at ur linux box

smbclient -L <ipmaddress of ur win machine>
to see the shares
or try out the gui avaliable for samba at
samba.org

xsmbrowser,,smb4k, are some good guis for samba
