my ipv4 appear in the gui system-config-network as 10.10.0.10
and in the configuration file etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 appear as 10.10.0.10 and in /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0 also appear as 10.10.0.10
but when I executed ifconfig command the ip appear as 169.254.25.41
After you set the IP you can run "ifdown eth0" then "ifup eth0" to restart it with the new settings. (Or if you're on the console you can run "service network restart" to restart all networking.
Also verify /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 does NOT have "dhcp" on the BOOTPROTO line. (You can delete the line or set it to "none".) DHCP would override your static settings.
Thank you man, I restarted the network, it works fine for seconds then the commuter start trying get address from dhcp server and get 169.254.x.x, but I restarted the server and it works fine now.
