Redirection of /dev/ttyS0 to Ethernet

Hello,

I'm looking for a tool allowing me to send data received /dev/ttyS0 over Ethernet or any other tool to create a virtual serial device with ethernet redirection.
It seems that there is a lot of tools like this for Windows but I cannot find anything for Linux.

Depending on exactly what you want, some incarnation of nc (netcat) combined with IO redirection to/from /dev/ttyS0 may get you what you want.

I didn't know netcat before(I'm linux newbie).
