All,
Im running linux redhat 8 and just worked out the Prism card problems for prism ver3 (wpc11 linksys). After I got the wireless card recognized by the system, my orinoco now refuses to come up, and the liksys and cisco card will not connect to the network at all.
I can ping the loopback and ping the cards assigned address'. Trying to ping the gateway is nothing but a whole lotta grief for this box.

The card and drivers work fine with airsnort, but will not connect to my wireless network. neat shows the wlan0 interface as active and working, but pinging does not work

any ideas at all? Help will be so accepted.....

I am also getting the following when doing arp -a
? (192.168.220.1) at <incomplete> on wlan0

Why did you double post the same question ? You do know this is against the rules of the site you agreed to when registering ?

I reposted the question specifying the build of linux, in the previous post it only stated linux 8 and not redhat 8, so these are two different posts
