Hello!

I have a Ralink rt61 chip-based card working on Debian. I would like to make it an Access Point.

Firstly I've used the legacy drivers. Card worked, but the drivers doesn't support AP.

I compliled 2.6.22rc1 kernel, downloaded the rt2x00 drivers, but I have many problem with them. Modules compiled succesfully, I loaded them, iwconfig found the card, but when I try to activate it via ifconfig, I get in/out errors.

I've also tried to compile hostapd, but it has failed. I'm sure that the .config file was correct.

Is there anyone who have succesfully set up AP on rt61?
