quick deconnect


hi,

I want to simulate a micro connection break between my webapp and my database

Does it exist a simple way to stop for less than 1 seconde the connection ?

Hi
I remembered using ethertap to do things like this. I think its still in the kernel (you have to recompile your kernel).

Easier would be to unplug the cable but I guess you have no physical access...
