Push installation


hi ppl,
im trying to install application software on machines on the network, simultaneously, from one node.....

so ill have to somehow push the process of installation onto the clients.....

where should i begin ??

Perhaps you could write a script that follows a pattern like:
1) Connects to a machine
2) Connect to a shared file system
3) Run another install script from the nfs share or copy fiels from the share to the local PCs drive.

If you only need to copy a few files to the remote host then you could try scp instead.
