Public accessible time servers in Canada

Hi,

I use rdate to sync my PC' time. I'm in Toronto. I used to use time.nrc.ca as my rdate time servers, but recently I can't use it anymore (before that, it was time.chu.nrc.ca).

I know time.nrc.ca is secondary time servers, or maybe third or fours tier. I don't care and I choose it on purpose, because I hope everybody divert their time sync requests evenly across all time servers, not just the source, e.g, ntp.nasa.gov. However, I found that such public servers are becoming less and less. Today, when I check, all published public-accessible time servers in Canada are not working.

time.chu.nrc.ca
time.nrc.ca
ntp1.cmc.ec.gc.ca
ntp.cpsc.ucalgary.ca
timelord.uregina.ca
ntp1.cmc.ec.gc.ca

Anyone can suggest me reliable secondary time servers that are close to Toronto please?

Thanks

Or, maybe it is time for me to change my time-syncing tool?

thanks

Look here:
http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/north-america

These are great places to look for time servers.

I just use the public pool.
pool.ntp.org
for me it is US so it is actually.
0.us.pool.ntp.org
etc....
Yours obviously will be different.

Thanks for respond, checkmate,

Are you using rdate as well? Strange that I can't connect to either the server you suggested via rdate.

Code:
 rdate -p pool.ntp.org
 rdate -p 0.us.pool.ntp.org
moreover, I couldn't visit the site http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/north-america,

here is what I get

Code:
Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /zone/north-america.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Apache/2.0.55 (Unix) Server at www.pool.ntp.org Port 80
comments?

thanks
