Proxy with two gateways. Possible?

I have a local network and 2 Internet connections. the first is 4MBPS line and the other is a 512kbps adsl line. the Proxy i have is using Fedora Core 4 and iptables. The things is that i want the users to see websites from the proxy from the first line and when that line is down to switch to the adsl line. Is that possible? i don't have a problem to execute commands to do the change between the routers.

Just change the default gateway and flush the route cache
ip route flush cache

To set up the dual routing, have a look at the Advanced Routing HowTo Chapters 4 & 5
