proxy server
hello every one,
i have installed simple proxy server on my virtual machine and try to get internet connection from proxy client..the error message it displays is access denied..i have disabled firewall rules in my proxy server..still access denied is the message at client..could any provide any suggestions...thanks
i am running cent os 5.3. i have installed squid package and edit the configuration file as follows line 73 http_port 3128
line 2831 visibile_hostname sys1.kottam.com
from the client i.e. centos 5.3 through firefox i am trying to access it. in the firefox i gave the proxy server name and port no 3128
