Question Problem With Building A Software Bridge

HI

I'm trying to use libpcap to build a software bridge using lan card and wifi card I open both cards using pcap_open_live(). Then I start two threads, each collecting frames on one of the card using pcap_next_ex() and then thread sending the frame using pcap_sendpacket(). Every thing seems fine but when i try to ping from my wifi card the ethernet card of some other machine. the wifi card gets RARP (<IP> is at <MAC Adress>) but it does not generate the echo request.
Regards

Your explanation is not very clear; what are the nets and subnets involved, how are they set up on the various machines and their network cards, and what type network hardware is it (wired/wireless)?
