ppp hardware required?


Hi
I've a question about the required hardware to build
a ppp server on redhat "RHEL4"

Assuming that all ppp daemon configurations goes well for now !!!
what is the mid-cost modem can afford "e.g 1000 users"
to dail in my server?

Hi -

I assume you probably don't mean "1000's of concurrent dial-ins".

The default #/sessions for a pppoe server is typically around 64 (and is, of course, configurable).
