PHPMYADMIN does not work

I have instaled PHPMYADMIN on Mandrake 10.1 and i cannot get to the console :
When i go to http://localhost/mysql/

i get this message :

Not Found

The requested URL /mysql/ was not found on this server.
Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.50 (Mandrakelinux/5mdk) mod_ssl/2.0.50 OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/4.3.8 Server at 127.0.0.1 Port 80

I do not understand because when i was on mandake 10.0, it was working.

well normally the path to phpmyadmin is as follows:
http://localhost/phpmyadmin

and if the upgrade should have changed something, you might want to have a look at your www folder (/var/www in debian), and see if you can see something like phpmyadmin.

Actually the default directory for phpmyadmin is http://localhost/phpMyAdmin-version/
To rule out any of these possible problem, check the folder that holds your web page to se EXACTLY what that directory i named.

i finally found the package for the latest for the latest version of phpmyadmin and i installed it, but, still, i cannot access to it.
Are you sure there is not a bug in the Mandrake 10.1 community version ?

Why don't you look in your /var/www/html folder and see if you can spot where phpMyAdmin was installed. Doing a find in that directory might help.

Do a ls /var/www/html and you should probably spot the phpmyadmin directory.
Donät forget that linux is case sensitive, even when it comes to URLs (not the domain part though).
