PCMCIA rh8 question

quick question. I have never worked with my PCMCIA slots in rh linux 8 , only in windows. If i use a wireless NIC card how do i assign the pcmcia slot 0 as a network interface? The pcmcia applet recognizes the card inside and its chipset (prism2) but im not sure how to go about making the pcmcia slot a network interface? ne help appreciated. thanks

Add device in redhat-config-network. When it asks for the hardware device, it should be listed provided you booted with the card in place. I use a prism 2 card too. All this is assuming you use the default gui to set up the connection.

yah i booted with card in place and its not there in to add as a device. any other suggestions? im stumped
