pcmcia and eth0

my toshiba labtop cannot load my xircom card on eth0
the result of lsmod:
xirc2ps_cs
ds (xirc2ps_cs)
yenta_socket
pcmcia_core used by 0(xirc2ps_cs ds yenta_socket)

i added a last line in module.conf
alias eth0 xirc2ps_cs

it double bip at boot time

if i do:
service pcmcia restart
service network restart
it still fail eth0...

if i try:
ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.10
ifconfig eth0 up
i can ping 192.168.0.10 (myself)
i can't ping anyone else...

Well, i am stuck...
