Not connecting through NFS....port problems

I need some help,

After running Mandrake 10.1 for the last few months I decided to upgrade to Mandriva Powerpack with KDE 3.4 . All seems to be running great with the exception of NFS drive mounts. When I try to mount I get the message "mount: failed to probe ports on NFS server".

Nothing changed at the server end so the problem must be at the workstation end. All my files are in the server and I cannot access them....any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

got it working, turns out rebooting the server solved the problem. I tried several times to restart all the nfs services with no sucess but rebooting the server fixed it.

thank you
