There is my problem:
- I have 2 NICs, eth0 connect to ADSL (using DHCP), eth1 connect LAN (using static IP, 192.168.65.1) (Switch) from Linux Server.
- I have one computer setup Windoze 2k and I assign IP is 192.168.65.2, gateway is 192.168.11.1 from ADSL.
- From Linux server, I can ping 192.168.65.1, 192.168.11.1, 192.168.65.2, www.yahoo.com, correct!
- From Client (Windoze 2k, I can ping 192.168.65.1, 192.168.65.2 - of course, 192.168.11.1) but I can't ping www.yahoo.com or browser yahoo website!

Pls show me this solution! Thanks, I'm a lamer!

Ok,

Either I'm not understanding this set up or I need to work on my english better

1. You say you can ping www.yahoo.com from linux server?
2. You are saying you can't www.yahoo.com from Win2k?

So is this a windows platform problem?

Alright, I'm assuming that you still have trouble with reaching the outside world from your linux machine.

Q. Can you ping yahoo.com's IP address? Try to ping 66.94.234.13 not "www.yahoo.com".

A1. If you can, then it's your /etc/resolv.conf file. You need to put in your ISP's nameserver. You said from the 1st post page, you said it was pointing to: 192.168.0.1. Are you running DNS on that ip? Most likely you are not so use your ISP's DNS server. You can find out even from one of your window's boxes: "ipconfig /all".

A2. If you cannot ping 66.94.234.13, then you are not applying the right gateway. Do 'route -n' and paste us the results. Mine looks like this:

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0

the line " 0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 " is what you need to focus on. '0.0.0.0' is my default route and '192.168.0.1' would be my gateway. Good luck...
