Hi All i want to take the time to say thanks to all of you @ linuxquestion.org you guys really helped me out in the years ...
Now i have a simple question i know its possible because i use to have it enable on my suse distro. First here is my network lay out
192.168.1.1 = router
Static ips
192.168.1.25 = damn small linux "web server box"
192.168.1.35 = windows xp "gaming server box"
192.168.1.45 = personal pc "windows xp"
192.168.1.55 = personal pc "windows xp"
dinamic ip
192.168.1.1xx
2 laptops on dhcp win xp .
link sys router with 1 generic hub.
Now my question is that i would like to share the files from the linux box to the win xp and from the xp to the linux .
I tried samba and it didn't work I'm thinking that i my not have a compiler because dsl linux is only about 50 megs its on a old pc and i don't have a lot of space that why i went with dsl Linux . So if you guys know a program to be able to talk to my fat 32 partition on windows box please net me know.
Or maybe that there is a simple console command to map the network.
Thanks , Ziggis
