Question netselect

hello, i have a sarge installation and i'am trying to get netselect-apt to work. when i run the app it works o.k. when netselect finishes it fails because a firewall was probally blocking the tracer routes. i don't know what port to open. does this have something to do with the iptables or windows firewall? how can i get netselect to work.

thanks
