NameServer Probs ....

Im trying to configure my Slack 9.1 for the internet ... Its able to recognize the other machines on my network (192.168.0.3,4,5,6) ... but when it try to ping google.com or ping 24.**.**.*** it says either "Unknown Host" or "Network is Unreachable" ... I am almost positive its a nameserver problem, but im not sure what my name server is, or what one looks like .... I had the same problem a while ago .... I just cant remember what I did, i remember i Put 2 nameservers in resolv.conf ... if anyone could help that would be great. Thanks.

Is the network is unreachable then it sounds like a routing problem.
make sure you have a default gateway set.

easiets to run netconfig again or you can manually add a default gateway on the cli

you put your name servers in /etc/resolv.conf
this can also be done through netconfig

for now, you can set your resolv.conf to search at your router , likely 192.168.0.100(assuming you have one) and it may be able to forward your dns search info for you.
