router and a nameserver

I have a nameserver which is supposed to do dns lookups for 5 different domains. I have most of the code done but i am not sure if i should put ip address of the router or the ip address of the linux box. the routers ip address is xx.xx.yyy.zzz and linux box's ip address is 192.168.1.100. Thanks in advance

If I'm not wrong ... that router is and suplementary hardware (means that it's not and linux box machine configured as royter).

If that nameserver is on your linux box machine ... than I think that you must put the linux box IP.

That router connect that server on the net I think so. Right ?

There are something like ... router --> linux box if I'm not wrong and that router is something transparent for linux machine or there are just some rules of routing nothing else.
