Mounting windows shares on linux

Does anybody know why the hell I can't mount more than one windows 98 share on the filesystem of redhat 9?

I would like to mount two shares but all I can manage is one. Whenever I put the entry for the second one in /etc/fstab and then reboot the bootup dies when the kernel reaches Mounting SMB filesystems.

Here is the entry for one share:

//servername/javashare /mnt/java smbfs password=**** 0 0

I tried giving the second share a different password but I can't anything to work.

Is is not possible to mount more than one windows share on a linux system?

Thanks,

Darryl

It should be possible. I take it you are mouing different shares and to different mount points (both of which exist)
