Cool Mod REWRITE url rewriting


Let's say i have a website with this url http://www.website.lsd.thc/ would it be possible make it http://www.website.com by mod_rewrite so users can reach http://www.website.lsd.thc/ writing http://www.website.com in their browsers.Otherways ????

I dont have much of an idea about this.. though i think you should go through 3rd example of this http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/vhosts/mass.html .
