Mepis works with Linksys router, but not with Netgear.

I have a fresh install of Mepis 7.0 on my HP laptop. At work it picks the network right up (Linksys router), but when I come home (Netgear router) it can't connect. Can anyone advise me?

Mike

P.S. Here is the router that I have: Netgear WGR614 v6

Please consider providing a link w/ any h/w issue. It shows that you care enough about our time to find it once for all of us & that you may have read the obvious reference(s) before posting.

Have you read these:
http://www.netgear.com/Products/Rout...rs/WGR614.aspx
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/wgr614v6.asp

You don't say so, but since your problem is w/ a laptop, is this a wireless connection you are trying?

Did you set up DHCP on your home router, especially the wireless section?

What happened?

Did you fix this yourself, please tell us how -- it may help someone else.

Do you still need help, please answer our Q's.
