Question LPD Server and Client

Ok, I have tried sharing printers with Samba and have decided to give up. Does anyone know how I can configure LPD to accept incoming requests?

Also, does anyone know a free LPD client for windows?

im off to see wat i can up on the subject

Thanks

Paul

Use CUPS and SAMBA/WEBMIN. It makes sharing windows printers look archaic by comparison. Mandrake has this installed by default. Suse may as well.
