Looking for Internet Usage Meter

HI

I am running mandriva 10.1 - and I am looking for a simple bandwidth usage monitor to go with my limited ADSL plan. I know about the Firefox one, but I dont use firefox as my primary web browser. I use Opera.

Any suggestions?

Well, you could always setup MRTG - As far as I know it sues SNMP traps (?) to make a usage graph based on bits/s

I'm not too sure how to set it up though

Yea I looked into that, however its sort of over-kill for what i want - ill keep searching, otherwise Ill get my hands dirty and give that a shot.

gkrellm should work--though it was designed for overall system moniroting and has somewhat basic network detection, but it works fine for me.
